Achievements that unlock a purchase no longer switch the row off. Some mounts can only be bought after an achievement โ but once it was done, the row vanished at once, bought or not: it happened with Tortured GorgerTortured GorgerMount, achievement earned and mount still at the stall. Now the row stays until the item is in your collection. Nine entries across K'aresh, the Void and Pandaria were affected. And completed achievements now carry the green [โ], like quests do: a green row with the achievement done reads at a glance โ only the buying is left.
Twenty-six more boss rows count your attempts. The second pass over the game's statistics: from Naxxramas to the Throne of ThunderThunderCompanion Pets, from the Black Temple to Ziekket in the Blinding Vale, the kills you have already spent now sit on the row you are looking at.
Ulduar was marked "normal": it is 10 and 25. Nine rows carried a modern difficulty on a raid that never had one โ the game's own statistics prove it, keeping counts only as 10 and 25. And the Eye said "25": it is a TBC classic raid, like the Black Temple.
Interface
Every row now has a checkbox, and rows can be hidden by hand. At the end of each entry sits a box: tick one or more and "Hide selection" appears at the bottom โ the chosen rows leave the list (and the counter) until you re-enable them. To get them back: menu โ "Manage hidden collectibles", a list showing each hidden row's items with its [restore].
In Sea-Dwelling Isle SerpentSea-Dwelling Isle SerpentMount's [?] the currency is a link too. The Marl needed for the rod was a hand-written name in six languages: now it is the real currency link, with its icon, the client's own name and its tooltip.
Saptor SalveSaptor SalveToy drops in MYTHIC only. We listed it on Heroic too, but the source is explicit: Mythic only โ and Mythic+ from Season 2. During S1 it could not be obtained at all, with the dungeon out of the rotation: it came back with 12.1.
Interface
Tooltips now say it: "FuocoNote: this item is tracked". The addon name in red so it catches the eye, the rest of the line reading "and you have it" in green or "and you still need it" in orange โ so you know before buying, selling or discarding. It can be switched off in the menu, under "Show: โ Note in tooltips".
Tracked collectibles
The first secret of 12.1: SlitherfangSlitherfangCompanion Pets in the Altar of Fangs. A five-player ritual, Mythic only: after the first boss you gather the reagent and the charms at the poison waterfalls, after the second you perform the rite on the serpent without touching the totems. The [?] tells the steps in the right order, and the row carries a link to the discovery article. Alongside it The Writhing BroodThe Writhing BroodMount, the matching mount from Zul'jan's Strongbox at the end of the dungeon, on all three difficulties.
SpormilianSpormilianCompanion Pets, found in the field. It comes out of the reward chests at the end of a delve run โ seen in The Ring of Glory โ and the [?] says so: every full run is a roll, no lockouts.
Sea-Dwelling Isle SerpentSea-Dwelling Isle SerpentMount now tells you what it really costs. The price says 2,500 Coiled Filament, but that currency isn't found anywhere: it's made. The [?] walks the whole loop โ last rank with Captain Tokka's crew, then The Coiled HuntressThe Coiled HuntressFishing for 6,000 Voidlight Marl, then fish the isle and have Seasage Polo cleanse the rod, turning the Venom built up into filaments โ at the base rate, one per catch.
Character names are now complete in all six languages. The last fifteen creatures of patch 12.1 still showed their English name in Italian, Spanish, German, French and Russian.
40-player raids showed "9" as their difficulty. The game's internal number instead of a label: it now reads "40". Visible on the Molten Core rows.
Interface
A new category at the bottom of the list: Wild pets. The ones you capture in battle rather than loot: each row carries the zone, the pet and a single waypoint with every spot where the species appears. The section collapses like the others and has its own entry in the expansion filter. In the menu, "Hide Pets" becomes "Hide all Pets" and "Hide wild Pets" joins it, switching off just the category.
