Ready for patch 12.1.5. The addon also loads with the 12.1.5 client, without being flagged as out of date.
12.1-261008a (8 October 2026)
The quest name on the pins. Hovering the pin of a zone activity sometimes showed an empty tooltip. Now the name is also read from the quest log, and if the game doesn't know it yet it shows up the next time you hover.
12.1-260920a (20 September 2026)
The Altar of Corrosion on the map. When a station is not active yet, the tooltip tells you to use the Altar, but never said where it is: now it has its own marker. It is a signpost and nothing more, and clicking it takes you nowhere, because the station nearest to the Altar is the very one the Altar has yet to switch on. The marker is drawn a few pixels down and to the right of the exact spot, which is the right direction: the first station's flight point sits barely one unit away and the two would cover each other.
12.1-260916a (16 September 2026)
Zoomed in, dragging pans the map. Before, with the map zoomed, pulling it with the left button moved the whole window and the map stayed put. Now, while you are zoomed in, dragging pans the map, which is the thing you meant to do; at normal zoom the left button moves the window as always, and the title bar always moves it.
12.1-260914a (14 September 2026)
Clicking an event takes you there. The markers for events, bosses, treasures and activities were look-only: now a click flies you to the station nearest to that spot, among the ones you can reach, and the tooltip names it first. If the nearest one is where you stand, nothing moves and it tells you so.
Quests get the right icon. No more one exclamation mark for all of them: the icons are the game's own, and they tell a quest to accept from one already accepted (and from one complete, waiting to be turned in), and the repeatable ones, with the arrows, from those done once. The tooltip spells it out too.
12.1-260906a (6 September 2026)
Zone events can be switched off. Since the map started showing events, activities, bosses and treasures, a busy zone puts those markers on top of the flight points, which are the reason the map exists. There is now a checkbox under the map that clears them away, and the choice is remembered: leave it alone and nothing changes, because events stay on by default.
12.1-260902a (2 September 2026)
Bosses and other markers show up on the map too. An incursion boss is neither an event nor an activity: it travels on its own channel, the blinking markers, so the map showed the event without telling you who there was to fight. Now they are there, with their icon and name, along with the zone's treasures. Flight points stay out (the pins already draw them, and they are the only clickable ones), and so does the other-players marker.
Zoom with the mouse wheel. Up to three times, and the zoom follows the cursor: the point under the arrow stays put. Once zoomed in, drag with the right button to move around; the left one still moves the window as always. Reopening the map starts from the whole zone again.
12.1-260830a (30 August 2026)
The zone's events show up on the map. The big ones (like the Temple Incursion) with their own icon and, on hover, name, description and time left; the zone activities as smaller markers with their title. Everything is read fresh each time the map opens, so a finished event never lingers. The pins are informative only: clicks still belong to the flight points, which always sit on top.
12.1-260828a (28 August 2026)
Gets along with addons that replace the dialog. With an immersive dialog addon installed, the map used to appear and then fade away with the rest of the UI, buried under the replacement panel. Three things changed: the map now ignores the interface fade and stays on top of any dialog; where the replacement offers the standard hand-over channel, it steps aside on the Windcaller by itself, with the session intact; and "Show normal dialog" now brings up whichever dialog is actually in charge, stock or replacement.
12.1-260819a (19 August 2026)
The pins are easier to hit. Their click area is now twice as large, while the icons stay the same size: a couple of pixels off no longer means you miss. Suggested on Reddit by someone who described the exact problem this addon exists for: knowing where you want to go and landing somewhere else.
12.1-260817b (17 August 2026)
Locked stations no longer pretend you are there. Stations you have not activated yet don't appear in the dialog, and every one of them was getting the "you are here" X. Now your position comes from where you actually stand (you are next to the Windcaller) and shows a green dot; locked stations keep the red X, with a tooltip pointing you to the Altar of Corrosion to activate them.
12.1-260817a (17 August 2026)
First public release.
The Windcaller dialog becomes a map. Talk to an Amani Windcaller in the Vaults of Atal'Utek and instead of a list you get the zone map: an X where you stand, the classic taxi boot on the four destinations. Click a pin, off you fly.
The "hide me in the winds" blessing has its own button under the map.
"Show normal dialog" brings the stock list back at any time, session intact.
Esc closes cleanly, and any other dialog in the game is untouched.
Interface in English, Italian, Spanish, German, French and Russian: destination names come straight from the game, in your language, never translated by hand.
